The St. Clair College Saints may have found a star to build its cross-country program around in Andrew DeGroot.

The 21-year-old was a Canadian Interuniversity Athletics second-team all-star for the University of Windsor Lancers silver-medal winning team last year.

This season, DeGroot has swapped Lancer blue and gold for the green and gold of the Saints and will lead St. Clair into the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Cross-Country Championships in Sault Ste. Marie today.
